My business came to be because I love writing, but I didn’t start out with talent. I put hours and years of effort into writing. I built a writers resume after years of trial and error.
In the beginning I got work by going to website after website and applying, querying, submitting and finally writing good pieces. I have been taken by people wanting to pay $1 for a 3 page research article, people who ‘neglect’ to pay, and companies that tell you its free to join – until it isn’t – and you’re left high and dry. I have seen it all, and I have told others. People always ask: “Where can I make money online?”
Well, here it is!
This is a list I compiled after a lot of searching and trying. The sites below have all been visited by me. I still make some money off some when needed. I nixed anything that had the slightest sniff of a scam. I compiled this list over a while to remind myself of where to go to make money and I keep building this list over time.
First: You’ve all seen the barefoot writer, or the online promises you’ll make a ton of money but first you have to pay. Well, these sites have similar and better material and its all free.

Finally, for those just looking to work at home I have the long-term, work-at-home places. These may be subject to change but I put down ones that are almost always looking for people.
So, here is just what I compiled after a few hours of gathering my history. I have more but could not organize them quickly enough, but that gives me an opportunity to offer more down the road.
Speaking of offers, within the month of January I will offer more knowledge I have learned about the freelance industry. I will also offer some inside information for some of my most used skills as well.
As always, please don’t hesitate to ask any questions, I look forward to hearing from you. I hope you are having a great day and you make a lot of money.
