Owning a business for some is a means to an end.
It is a method of making a living.
It is truly a lot of work and it is all worth it.
Not once in my life did I ever NOT want to be a business owner. Research among scholarly experts repeatedly says that business ownership is something that is always deep inside a person. It is always a goal. It is an aspect of a person’s personality whether they are Aggressive or afraid of their own shadow – anyone can be a business owner. Owning a business for me isn’t a choice; it was only a matter of time.
This doesn’t mean that I am going to offer you a business opportunity or even a optimal money making scheme (unfortunately I don’t know any). All I have to offer is my business, my compassion and my words.
I started this business with a gleam in my eye and a dream in my heart. That has not changed, but something has: my realization of fortune and the possibility that it may never exist. I might never make it big. In that realization I gained power over my thinking. I have made peace with my business and decided I am going to operate it the best I know how! I am going to operate in a way that doesn’t just benefit my pocketbook, but everybody! Success is best when shared and I want to share it even with the minimal funds I have.
So, without further ado, I offer myself to you. All of my skills are still available for bartering but if I make any profit I will donate that to a charitable cause I deem worthy.
I am, as always, ecstatic to offer my services, but part of my heart hurt more knowing there were hundreds of people asking for the basic things I would expect to be available for everyone. Sadly, millions of people do not have access to education or even basic necessities.
So, now, until the end of October, all of my profits will be donated to: http://www.readdogsmn.org/
This organization promotes reading and education through having people reading to dogs. They can host parties to have many children read or set up times for those in need. Even if you don’t use my services you can certainly feel free to donate and help children gain confidence in reading.
Finally, I usually share a deeper message, but I feel the post emanates that on its own and so will only leave you with a few positive parting words. Its never to late to be what you want to be. You’re never too old, too young or too lost to keep following your dreams. Imagine, some people are so poor that all they have is money. Don’t be too scared to find your passion and even if you are, contact me and I’ll help the best I can.
may you have the best day
