Small Business Growing

Hi all again!

Much to my delight (and sometimes tears) I have been expanding my business and learning a lot.

Exciting news: I will have a groupon.com promotion coming up this month offering my resume writing services for half off. (secret tip: For those that request my services through the website, you will get the same or better deal).

I launch my business administration services through google this month as well and hoping that will be a success. For those overworked business professionals, I am ready to work for you.

This week I start training to get certification for real estate administration and in the interim am providing services in real estate to help busy agents and brokers succeed.

I expanded my services quite a bit – so now there is even more I can provide. (Hey everyone go check it out; I’ll wait).

I have also found some new and creative ways to advertise so I am ready to make a difference!

Speaking of making a difference.

On a personal note, I learned an important few lessons today that I feel worthy of sharing with the masses. It is about helping.

As a business person, my job is to help people. Also, as a business person who is also an actual person, my life/my plate can get pretty filled up really quickly. Being in business means always being busy and always trying to be better. You have to bend over backwards for people that wouldn’t breathe your direction to benefit you. This can be taxing. It can be downright dangerous if you let it. It can be very hard to tell if your help is actually helping or hindering yourself. Hoping won’t help (*History Lesson: In fact; it used to be one of the original seven sins because it meant that a person thought their thoughts were powerful enough to change the outcomes of things.)

The only thing I have found that really helps is: COMPASSION. Compassion really separates good from great and getting the job done right. Compassion feels like a no-brainer when dealing with clients but it has come in short supply as people become jaded to the world. Putting yourself in another’s shoes and doing things they want to be done is satisfying and beneficial for everyone.  However, one thing we tend to put off, criticize, and just plain ignore is compassion for a very important person: yourself.

While you’re caught up in the hustle and bustle of life, don’t forget about yourself. You are the reason all of this exists and you need to give yourself credit for that. Take time to value yourself the way you would others; you deserve it! Don’t feel bad about it because there is millions aimed in marketing to make us believe that we can’t be happy where we are. Maybe we can’t always be happy. Maybe we can’t always be everything to everyone, but there are millions of microorganisms who live inside you that only care about you – give them the best of you.

Out of everything I say and offer, if there was one wish I have for you it is this: That you know you are Important, Lovable and valuable!

Have a great day everyone
